Malaysia's Sterling Progress Sees 80.83 Mln Shares Worth MYR20.21 Mln Sold Off-Market

KUALA LUMPUR (Sep 29) -- Sterling Progress, a Malaysian consumer telecommunications and information technology product retailer, saw a total 80.83 million shares valued at 20.21 million ringgit ($4.79 million) sold in off-market trades, data from N2N trading platform shows.

The shares transacted represent 28.9% of the company's total issued paid up capital, as per data on the trading platform. The shares were traded in one block at 0.25 ringgit per share, representing 28.2% premium to open market price of 0.195 ringgit.
