Singapore's The Straits Trading Company To Buy Property In Japan For S$5.41 Mln

SINGAPORE (Sep 29) -- The Straits Trading Company, Singapore's real estate company, said Friday it has entered into an agreement to buy a rental residential apartment in Japan for S$5.41 million ($3.98 million).

Under the terms of the deal, The Straits Trading Company's Japan-based unit will acquire a 98.5% stake of the distributions from SIM Residence One GK, which entered into a separate agreement to buy the property, the company said in an exchange filing.
