Mitsubishi Estate won't write down UK properties

TOKYO -- Mitsubishi Estate expects to escape the post-Brexit property market turmoil in the U.K., finding no need to book impairment charges on its office buildings there.

Even if office rents fall going forward, this would have little impact on the Japanese developer as its buildings are leased for 10 to 15 years.
