Terrorism focus at BRICS summit

GOA, India -- Terrorism is the most serious direct threat to economic prosperity and development, leaders of the world's five main emerging economies agreed at a summit here on Sunday.

The five economies -- Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa -- were dubbed BRICS by the financial community and before they formed a group with the acronym. India, the current chair, has hosted the group's eighth annual summit this weekend in the Western resort state.
