UN's Ebola fund low on cash as pledges fail to appear

UNITED NATIONS -- The United Nations trust fund for Ebola has only $100,000 left despite an appeal to the international community for $1 billion, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said Wednesday.

     Ban told reporters at U.N. headquarters that the fund started out with $20 million, but has dwindled as pledged money fails to materialize.
