Global tax deal gives new hope to the poor

Agreement must urgently evolve to deliver the benefits that are now so close

The global corporate tax deal endorsed by the Group of 20 is a turning point for fairness in international finance. In my region, Asia and the Pacific, it could help deliver lasting economic recovery from the pandemic and offer new hope for millions of poor and vulnerable people.
