John K. Veroneau is senior counsel at law firm Covington & Burling and previously served as deputy U.S. trade representative. He is a member of the American Association of the Indo-Pacific's advisory board.
In launching the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework last year, the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden said it would seek an agreement that would include "high-standard, inclusive, free and fair trade commitments."
