Both sides must come to terms with each other's worldviews to minimize misunderstanding

India and the West see the current geopolitical environment in very different terms. Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar made this crystal clear in a speech in Munich last year: "Europe had to grow out of the mindset that its problems are the world's problems and the world's problems are not Europe's problems."
