Japan must take its Global South vision forward in 2024

Concept can help strengthen coordination of support for developing countries

Hiroyuki Suzuki is deputy director general of the corporate planning department of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation.

Last year, Japan, as chair of the Group of Seven, worked in partnership with India, then chair of the Group of 20, to build bridges between developed countries and emerging and developing nations.
