Recent actions by the U.S. government have led to a mass removal of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs by American corporations who must comply with strict regulatory actions. Corporate responses are divided. Those who are removing policies are citing the need to be in regulatory compliance as rationale for the change, with others citing that objectives for programs have been met. Several of these companies have also reaffirmed their commitment and belief in DEI, irrespective of the actions they are taking.
