Sports diplomacy could be uniquely effective in bridging skeptical publics

Jinwan Park will represent South Korea at the inaugural U.S.-ROK-Japan Trilateral Global Leadership Youth Summit in July and is an incoming Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University in Beijing.

The pathbreaking baseball games played last month in Seoul between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres provided a tantalizing glimpse into the potential for deeper trilateral cooperation among the U.S., South Korea and Japan.
