Contrary to some analysts' expectations, Malaysia's chairmanship of ASEAN in 2025 will not simply follow the same trajectory but will mark a reawakening for the regional organization. Malaysia aims to reassert the group's relevance in a changing geopolitical landscape while tackling unresolved trade issues.
