Dominic Cummings, estranged adviser to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, dropped an interesting nugget into a recent Twitter tirade against his former boss. Britain's approach to COVID-19 was bungled in many ways, he argued. It was also "totally hostile to learning from East Asia," and thus unable to mimic the successes of nations like Taiwan.
