Taiwan's admission would reaffirm the values of the CPTPP

With the accession of the U.K. to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership last month, the world's most important regional economic integration pact is now turning its attention to other economies aspiring to become a member, including both China and Taiwan.
