The Republic of Turkey marked its centennial on Oct. 29. Over the 100 years since its founding, the country has grown into a regional powerhouse, wielding major political and economic influence.

In this time of deepening global turmoil, including the war in Ukraine and tensions between Israelis and Palestinians, we hope Turkey leverages its unique role to promote regional stability.
