Alvin Camba is an assistant professor at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver focused on the political economy of development and a faculty affiliate of the Climate Policy Lab at Tufts University.

Over the last few years, scam rings based in Southeast Asia have cheated hundreds of thousands of people out of billions of dollars and enslaved tens of thousands to further their schemes.
