In a single week, three of America's close allies and partners -- Australia, Singapore and Canada -- held pivotal elections. Despite their geographic differences, all three produced strikingly similar results: the election of incumbent parties whose platforms included strong opposition to U.S. President Donald Trump's aggressive tariff threats and his transactional approach to alliances and partnerships.
