Vietnam is bowing to pressure from the Trump administration to buy more U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) and energy sector equipment worth billions of dollars. The move came as the firebrand American president threatened the country with a 46% retaliatory tariff over its trade imbalance with Washington.
