Things are heating up in Australia. Not only is the country feeling the negative effects of Donald Trump's new tariffs, but energy prices continue to spike along with pending natural gas shortages in parts of the country. Though there's little the average Aussie can do about the tariffs, they will soon have more control over their energy future. Voters go to the polls on May 3 in a federal election that is expected to be a tight race.
