Japan to boost aid to World Bank arm

Country already the third largest contributor to poverty warrior

TOKYO -- Japan is set to boost its aid to the poorest nations to help fight poverty.

Japan's Finance Ministry will provide the International Development Association, a World Bank arm, with investments and loans worth 600 billion yen ($5.23 billion), up about 20% from three years ago.
