NEW DELHI -- Terror struck Bangladesh for the second time within a week as the Muslim-majority nation celebrated the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr on Thursday.
An explosion was followed by heavy gunfire between police and militants near a mass prayer ground in Kishoreganj, a district about 100km from the capital of Dhaka. More than 200,000 people had gathered for Eid, a festival marking the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
