TOKYO -- Prime Minister Shinzo Abe puts his longtime goal of amending Japan's constitution front and center as he launches a revamped cabinet and ruling party leadership on Tuesday. Abe also is gearing up for the Diet upper house election in summer 2019.
Much of the cabinet looks to remain the same, with Finance Minister Taro Aso, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga and Economic Revitalization Minister Toshimitsu Motegi all slated to keep their posts.
