Abe to welcome 15 leaders in autumn diplomacy blitz

TOKYO -- This autumn will see Japan go on a diplomacy spree characterized by three main themes: new leaders, China and the U.S. presidential election.

According to data compiled by The Nikkei, the leaders of 15 countries will visit Japan in the September-December period, up from 10 a year earlier and six in 2014.
