NEW YORK -- The view of China by people in the U.S. has become more negative since the last U.S. general election, according to a survey by the Pew Research Center, with more Americans viewing China as an enemy than in previous years.
Forty-two percent of Americans see China as an enemy while only 6% of Americans see it as a partner. Half of those interviewed saw China as a competitor, according to the survey published Wednesday.
