BEIJING -- Chinese Vice Premier Hu Chunhua, once thought to be a leading candidate to be the country's premier, was not chosen to be in the seven-member Politburo Standing Committee, the top decision-making body, on Sunday.
He also lost his seat on the 24-member Politburo, signaling a demotion.
