BEIJING -- Chinese security authorities on Wednesday warned the country's students abroad against collaborating with foreign spies.

The Ministry of State Security issued a lengthy post on its official WeChat account cautioning native Chinese against coming into contact or cooperating with foreign intelligence agencies while studying or taking trips overseas.
