NEW YORK -- Chinese students filed a lawsuit to the District Court in the Northern District of California on Friday challenging the U.S. government's cancellation of their student visas, alleging the move was arbitrary and in violation of the constitution.

The visas and immigration status of Zhuoer Chen, Mengcheng Yu, Jiarong Ouyang and Gexi Guo were revoked in early April, an action that would require them to leave the country.
