BEIJING -- Four Chinese generals failed to show up at a recent promotion ceremony, according to a news report, signaling a possible broadening of the corruption probe among China's military ranks.
The Central Military Commission, China's top military body, held a ceremony Monday in Beijing to promote Chen Hui as general and the new army political commissar. President Xi Jinping presided over the event.
