WASHINGTON -- The U.S., U.K. and Australia agreed Friday to start an initiative on joint experiments with uncrewed maritime defense systems amid concerns over China's naval expansion.
The initiative comes as U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin held talks with his British and Australian counterparts, Grant Shapps and Richard Marles, in the California city of Mountain View.
