LONDON -- The U.K. has agreed to supply AUKUS partners with torpedoes for submarine-hunting aircraft, British Defence Secretary John Healey announced Thursday, after a meeting with U.S. and Australian counterparts in London.

He also said the U.K. would train hundreds more Australians to operate, maintain and regulate nuclear-powered submarines, after 250 completed a course in nuclear engineering this month.
