TOKYO/SEOUL -- The U.S., Japan and South Korea fully activated on Tuesday a system to share information on North Korean missiles in real time, ramping up security cooperation to better detect and respond to launches.
The push comes as Pyongyang continues to advance nuclear and missile capabilities. It fired a short-range ballistic missile Sunday, then a solid-fuel intercontinental missile capable of reaching the U.S. mainland on Monday.
