MANILA -- Former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte and his two sons are reportedly planning to run for the Senate in the 2025 midterm elections, a move that could create political instability in the country.

The Duterte family and the incumbent President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. have had a thorny relationship for months.
