MANILA -- Former President Ferdinand Marcos, the dictator who ruled the Philippines for two decades by military rule, is to finally be buried in a cemetery reserved for war heroes and other notables.

Supreme court justices on Tuesday rejected a plea by Marcos victims against President Rodrigo Duterte's decision to allow the man chased abroad by the People Power movement in 1986 a place in the hallowed Heroes' Cemetery.
