Donald Trump is going to the White House for the next four years. The only thing we can say with confidence is that we have no idea what to expect from a man who has no experience of government and a reputation for having a volatile and vengeful temper.
His campaign slogan, "Make America great again," evokes President Ronald Reagan's "Morning in America," but the "Gipper," as Reagan was known, framed his appeal in terms of optimism, engagement and confidence; Trump's message is altogether darker.
