HONG KONG -- A reporter working for Hong Kong's South China Morning Post has become unreachable after her business trip to Beijing last month, following a similar incident last year with another SCMP journalist, sparking concerns over China's tightening restrictions on press freedom.
Minnie Chan, a Hong Kong passport holder who covers China's defense and diplomacy, has not returned to Hong Kong since attending the Beijing Xiangshan Forum in October, according to people close to her.
