India secures Canadian uranium in $284 million deal

NEW DELHI -- Canada has agreed to supply 3,200 tons of uranium to India over five years under a $284 million deal, a major boost to New Delhi's goal of tripling the country's nuclear power capacity to over 17,000 megawatts by 2024.
