NEW DELHI -- India's sizable Muslim minority remains frantic about a new law it says will take away the land its mosques and schools occupy, despite Prime Minister Narendra Modi promising the legal amendment will settle a raft of ownership disputes once and for all.
Protests have been rolling across India since the law -- an amendment to the 1995 Waqf Act -- was passed by India's parliament at the beginning of April.
