NEW DELHI -- Indian farmers have said they will put off a planned protest march to Delhi, amid talks with the government over their demands for better crop prices, debt waivers and pensions.

A third round of negotiations ran into the early hours of Friday, before concluding on what India's Agriculture Minister Arjun Munda described as a "positive" note.
