JAKARTA -- Indonesia has appointed an official from the Asian Development Bank as the head of its new capital authority.

Bambang Susantono, currently the vice president for Knowledge Management and Sustainable Development at the multilateral institution, was appointed head of the National Capital Authority on Thursday.
