JAKARTA -- Indonesia's presidential race is heating up, as three pairs of candidates have registered for the vote set for Feb. 14 next year.

On Wednesday, Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto and his vice presidential nominee Gibran Rakabuming, President Joko Widodo's eldest son, submitted their registration to the General Elections Commission, becoming the third and final ticket to officially sign up for the campaign.
