ELMAU, Germany -- Leaders from the Group of Seven wealthy democracies met this week in the shadow of the Ukraine war, soaring global inflation and ever-present concerns about China.
In concluding their three-day summit, the leaders from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the U.K., the U.S. and the European Union issued a lengthy joint statement, weighing in on the multiple crises buffeting the world and vowing a range of countermeasures.
