SAN FRANCISCO -- The 2023 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum, chaired by the U.S. in San Francisco, closed on Friday, with leaders issuing a statement titled the "Golden Gate Declaration."
Dubbed "the center of the global economy," by U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, the 21 members of the Asia-Pacific group agreed to "harness" new technologies such as artificial intelligence to unleash dynamism across the region.
