HO CHI MINH CITY -- When Blackpink descends on Hanoi this weekend, the popstars will drive by Hyundai showrooms, CJ Group theaters, and all manner of other South Korean brands plastered across Vietnam.

While the K-wave has left few corners of the globe dry, in Vietnam, South Korea's influence extends to a notable range of areas: entertainment, business, fashion and even football.
