TIANJIN, China -- Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Tuesday called for the world to uphold "stability" with the goal of protecting economic growth, following a rebellion in Russia and as the world's second-largest economy faces a growing array of challenges.
In a speech at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in the city of Tianjin, the second-most powerful figure in the Chinese government said global stability and development have been disrupted by "unfortunate events."
