UNITED NATIONS -- Beijing remains committed to the reunification of Taiwan, Foreign Minister Wang Yi told the United Nations General Assembly on Saturday, saying "only when China is fully reunified can there be true peace across the Taiwan Strait."

Warning of "separatist activities" in Taiwan, Wang said any move to oppose China's unification effort will be crushed by "the wheels of history."
