NEW DELHI -- India on Friday hosted a virtual Global South summit, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi calling on the developing world to speak with "one voice" even on an issue as divisive as the Israel-Hamas war.
Modi addressed the opening session of the second such event India has convened this year, as New Delhi seeks to position itself as a leader of southern nations that often feel overlooked by the developed "North."
