WASHINGTON -- U.S. President-elect Donald Trump will inherit strong alliances and multilateral partnerships within the Indo-Pacific, a strategy framed by the Biden administration as key to countering China.
But analysts predict that Trump, who prefers to engage one on one with foreign leaders, would rather strike a deal with China, potentially moving away from the strengthened Indo-Pacific network.
