SYDNEY -- Tuvaluan parliamentarians have chosen Feleti Teo as the small Pacific nation's new prime minister, doing so in an unprecedented unanimous vote that suggests a high degree of support for the former attorney general and fisheries official.
Teo's election by the country's 16 members of parliament was announced by former Foreign Minister Simon Kofe following a vote on Monday morning.
