TOKYO -- Indonesia's aim of joining the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development would benefit both sides and help Jakarta accelerate regulatory reforms, the country's ambassador to Japan said.
"Indonesia's membership would support the country's economic growth by opening access to valuable tools to analyze and monitor its economic, social and environmental policies," Ambassador Heri Akhmadi told Nikkei on Monday.
