TOKYO -- Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba meets with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Peru on Friday, looking to confirm plans for continuing high-level dialogue amid a number of bilateral concerns.

The summit, the first between the leaders since Ishiba took office recently, will be held during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meetings on Friday and Saturday.
